We look forward to working with your students and preparing them academically, socially, behaviorally and physically for success in high school and throughout their life. The staff at LVMS is here, ready and eager to assist you in any way possible. We invite parents to take an active role  in their child’s education.  Middle school is a pivotal time for many students and a time when parental support is needed more than ever. Parents are encouraged to join the Parent-Teacher Student Association (PTSA),  School Site Council and English Learner Advisory Committee. Our motto here at LVMS is that our students are “Learners today, leaders tomorrow.”  The following principles guide our work: 

•  What’s best for students must be at the heart of everything we do.  
•  All students can learn at high levels.  
•  High expectations for students are coupled with high expectations for adults.  
•  Effective teaching and safe and orderly learning environments are keys to student success.

A successful school is not possible without a strong partnership with our parents. Parents are children’s first teachers, most valuable role models and greatest influence. Communication and support between parents and staff are essential in the success of every student. Together we will teach our students to become strong in their decision-making skills and teach them that making responsible decisions is essential as they approach adulthood and become productive citizens.
